In development, coming first to iOS

The next thing.
Nothing else.

A visual schedule for neurodiverse children who do better with one clear step at a time.

Tilandra morning routine screen, showing one child's tasks in order

Same layout, same order, every day. Nothing moves unless a parent moves it.

Who this is built for

Neurodiverse children.
Kids who find change hard.

Also works well for any family who wants a simpler routine.

In our own house, opening the app and following the next step has, more than once, been the thing that breaks through a meltdown. Not because it's magic, but because it doesn't ask an overwhelmed brain to do anything new. This is what it's designed to do.

Real screens from the app.

One colour, chosen once.
Why it works this way

The app looks the same today
as it did yesterday.

Some children can't hold onto a routine, even when it's repeated every day. Tilandra stays exactly the same, every time.

How it works

Set up once.
Used every day.

A routine a parent sets once, and a child can trust every day.

01

A parent sets it up

Routines come pre-filled with sensible defaults. Adjust in minutes.

02

A child sees what's next

One task, front and centre. Just the next thing.

03

It's marked done

A tap. A check. On to the next step.

Why Tilandra

What this app doesn't do

No surprise rewards, points, or streaks

A reward appearing mid-task can distract a child who overstimulates easily. The only recognition is a calm star for each finished section, the same every time.

No redesigns

The layout doesn't change with app updates. Predictability is the feature.

No single shared list

Each child has their own routine. A chore can still be a team job.

For occupational therapists & carers

Built on principles you already use

Tilandra follows the same visual-schedule principles used in OT practice: one task in view, consistent structure, no unexpected changes between sessions.

If you work with a family who'd benefit from this kind of structure at home, including families accessing OT through NDIS-funded supports, a parent can export any routine as a printable page. No login to view it, no app needed to read it.

We'd like to hear from therapists using this in practice, so get in touch below.

  • Same layout, every session
  • One task visible at a time
  • Printable, shareable routines
  • No gamified distractions

Help us test it before it launches

Tilandra is heading into a small beta on iPhone, through Apple's TestFlight. We would like a handful of Australian families to use it for real, and tell us honestly what is wrong with it.

Email us and we will add you when the beta opens. Send the email address your Apple ID uses, because that is where the TestFlight invitation goes.

We use your email only to send beta invitations and a launch notice. We never share it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time. See the privacy policy.

Common questions

Good to know

Is Tilandra only for neurodiverse children?

No. It's designed with neurodiverse children in mind, but any family can use it.

Does Tilandra use points, badges, or rewards?

Not in the way most apps do. There are no points, badges, streaks, or surprise rewards. Finishing a section earns a calm star, and the routine looks the same every day.

Is Tilandra free?

Yes. The free plan covers one child on one device, with routines and chore checklists included. Premium adds pocket-money tracking, additional children, cloud sync across devices, and a family calendar.

Can I share my child's routine with their occupational therapist?

Yes. Export any routine as a printable page for an OT, school aide, or co-parent. No login required to view it.

Is this a children's app?

No. Parents handle setup and settings. Children use the checklists, with supervision.

Is my family's data private?

Yes. On the free plan, everything stays on your device and is never transmitted anywhere. Premium adds optional cloud sync, stored on servers in Sydney, Australia. There are no ads, no analytics, and no selling of data, ever, on either plan.

Questions, feedback, or press?

Tilandra is a solo-built app, and a real person reads every message.
